A Mid-Autumn Festival For Children

September 16, 2018

With warm hearts and youthful enthusiasm, the youth members of An Phong Company brought love and joy to children in Trung Son Hamlet, Xuan Truong Commune, Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai Province during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival.

After more than a week of thoughtful preparation and close coordination with the local government of Xuan Truong, the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” program officially took place on the morning of September 16, 2018. The children of Trung Son enjoyed a meaningful morning filled with games and friendly interactions with the young volunteers from An Phong’s Youth Union.

Carefully prepared with love and excitement, delightful gifts filled with childhood colors were handed out to the children, bringing joy and sparkles to their eyes.

The youth team’s journey began in the crisp, cheerful air of late autumn, carrying with them boxes of sweets, lanterns, and joyful songs on board.

Upon arrival, with the enthusiastic support of local leaders, the team quickly organized the venue—setting up the stage, arranging tables and chairs, decorating the backdrop, and creating a vibrant space for the celebration. Colorful balloons, cheerful laughter, and an excited atmosphere lit up the entire venue.

The “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” kicked off amid great anticipation from more than 200 children and their parents. Beloved traditional characters—Sister Hang, Uncle Cuoi, and the Jade Rabbit—appeared and took the children on a journey back to the joyful world of childhood.

The glowing lanterns gifted by the volunteers will shine along the countryside roads, carrying with them the beautiful memories of a magical childhood.

Nguyen Van Hoang, a student from class 5/2, excitedly shared: “I’m really happy to play with my friends here and get so many presents!”

The joy shining on the children’s faces is the most meaningful gift of all. It inspires An Phong’s Youth Union to continue spreading compassion and community spirit with all their heart and dedication.
